Our glass

When producing our glass art at Tittleton glass, we use two methods.

Firstly - Casting, using the lost wax method, we produce sculptures & vessels. This is what our studio specialises in. We use the very best Gaffer casting glass, which we re-use in some of our sculptures.

Secondly - Stained glass, using cut glass, copper (and at times brass), solder & cotton string for hanging on the wall or window. This is a new exciting addition to our glass studio.

Our studio prides itself on having zero glass waste. From these methods mentioned above, special pieces are created from time to time using off-cuts from cast glass to flat sheet glass. If there is glass off-cuts left after this, they are then donated to other artists to use within their work.
